The craft brewery Pecora Beer, located in Asao Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, will hold a tasting seminar as a store event. The venue is the company’s attached store, Beer Kitchen. True to Pecora Beer, where the representative personally handles brewing, the event is designed not just for drinking, but for focusing on how to appreciate beer.

In this seminar, participants will taste four different beers and use the beer classification reference, the Beer Style Guidelines, as a guide to compare each beer’s unique character. The guide will be led by the representative of Pecora Beer, who is also a beer judge. From a professional perspective, the session is structured so attendees can learn points that will help them enjoy an everyday pint more deeply.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The participation fee is 3,000 yen per person (tax included), payable on site on the day. Payment methods include cash, credit cards, transportation IC cards, and QR payments. Participants must be 20 or older, and attendance is limited to 8 people. An original tote bag will also be given to participants.

Pecora Beer is a brewery centered on clean yet bold American-style beers, and its official website identifies it as a brewery in Asao Ward, Kawasaki City. Its attached store serves up to nine kinds of house-made beer, and a seminar like this can be seen as an extension of the “beer experience” the shop promotes. This event is aimed at people who want to broaden not only the pleasure of tasting, but also their perspective on beer itself.

Registration is accepted via Peatix.
