Manchin Brewing announces a six-can subscription that can be canceled starting the following month, shipping Hokuto flavors month by month
In an Instagram post at 19:22 on March 7, 2026, Manchin Brewing (Yamanashi) announced a craft beer subscription plan that can be canceled starting the following month. The service delivers a six-can set once a month for JPY 3,900 including tax, pairing two staple beers with four rotating selections, including new releases.
Manchin Brewing announced acceptance for its "Manchin Brewing Craft Beer 6-Can Set Subscription" on Instagram. According to the post, the price is JPY 3,900 including tax, which is 30% off compared with regular purchase. To make it easy to continue, the plan can also be canceled starting the following month.
Each month’s lineup consists of the two regular beers below, plus four beers selected by the brewery, for a total of six cans:
- NEW COLONY (FARMHOUSE ALE)
- WHOLE HIGH WORLD (AMERICAN PALE ALE)
For March, the featured beers are SCHWARZ, DAIKON FARMHOUSE ALE, DISKOSICK, and POWERED BY SUN, giving the set a wide range that spans from black beer to yuzu lager. With an ABV range of 4.5% to 6.5%, the lineup is designed for side-by-side tasting enjoyment.
What stands out in particular is the use of local ingredients. The post introduces a farmhouse ale made with Akeno’s specialty Asao daikon radish, as well as a lager made with pesticide-free yuzu from Yamanashi Prefecture. By including both staples and seasonal elements, the subscription seems to offer a practical way to avoid missing out on releases while naturally discovering new beers.
Manchin Brewing is a brewery located at MANGOSTEEN HOKUTO, a mixed-use site in Akeno, Hokuto City, Yamanashi. Alongside the liquor store and event space Manchin Saketen and the gyoza eatery Manchin Bao, it brews with underground water from Mt. Kayagatake and local fruit and vegetables, promoting a "craft beer 2.0" concept centered on regional character. This new subscription can be seen as a practical entry point for bringing that local flavor into everyday refrigerators.
