Kamakura, Kanagawa-based Yorocco Beer Iwase Brewery introduced "The Golden Time" as this week’s release. The style is Italian Pilsner.

In this post, the brewery described the beer by saying that "Golden Time is back after a long time." It says the beer is built around a crisp, refreshing body, gently layered with floral and herbal hop aromas.

Centered on the lightness typical of a pilsner, the appeal of this style is that it does not simply end faintly, but leaves a clear aromatic outline. From Yorocco Beer’s description, one can imagine a beer that is easy to drink without tiring the palate, something you’d want to slowly wet your throat with in the evening.

The brewery operates out of Kamakura and has carefully continued making beers that can be enjoyed naturally in everyday life. This "The Golden Time" also seems to be part of that flow. As the season moves from spring into early summer and the daylight gradually lengthens, this is the kind of release that naturally calls to hand before or after meals, or at dusk.

At the end of the post, they added "For your Golden Time.", which can be read as a message that reflects the beer’s lightness and the change in mood it offers. As temperatures rise in the coming months, this is a pilsner worth noting for anyone looking for something cold, clean, and easy to drink.
