At eni-bru, the basement beer pub in Nakamozu, Sakai, Johana Beer’s Blood Orange appeared in the July 28 lineup. The fruit ale uses blood orange and is presented as a summer-friendly beer with bright fruit character and a crisp finish.

The shop is still running its 19th-anniversary rare-beer festival through July 31, pouring 13 draft beers, including the house-exclusive Many Hands, One Coast, URARAKAZE ~Urarakaze~ from Nude Beer and Flora Fermentation, Kanchidame from Brew Classic and Be Easy Brewing, and Apple Hop Shinano Gold ver. from Minamishinshu Beer.

Other taps include Crystal Ale from Swan Lake Beer, BREATH OF TANO, MIXED MEDIA, and WIND FROM FARM from Paint Palette Brewing, Yareyare Ale from Hino Brewing, Today’s Manten Real Ale ver. from Hansharo Beer x Beer Joshi, and the regular Asahi Draft Beer Maruef. With food and sake also on hand, it is an easy place to compare styles over a meal.
