At Beer Bar Marble in Ueda Minami, Tenpaku Ward, Nagoya, the collaboration beer "Chirin" from Yamorido and KYOTO NUDE BREWERY has been tapped.
The beer is a Weizen w/ komono (クロモジ). In the post, it is described as being brewed with komono sourced from Keihoku, with a clean finish thanks to slightly cooler fermentation. The flavor profile is said to move from a cypress-like refreshing aroma to a gentle, ginger-like spicy sweetness as time passes. It comes in at 5.0% ABV and 11 IBU. The brewery notes it as a flavor not found in Yamorido's lineup so far.
The current draft lineup posted alongside it includes five beers:
- GOse WOMEN / Contemporary Honey & Lemon Gose / Mya-brew
- Star Sand from Southern Cross / NZ style Hazy IPA / Mya-brew
- Chirin / Weizen w/ komono / Yamorido x KYOTO NUDE BREWERY
- Eight Star Apple / Graf w/ star anise / Mya-brew
- AUSSIE PALE ALE / Pale Ale / TWO RABBITS BREWING
The range runs from a tart gose to a hop-forward hazy IPA, a spiced graf, and a classic pale ale, making it a good stop for side-by-side tasting. The new "Chirin" is the headline pour here, but the broader tap list is what gives the bar its appeal on this day.
