Kohaku Goubishu Arrives

Beer Bar Marble, a beer pub in Ueda Minami, Tenpaku Ward, Nagoya, announced that it has tapped Mya Brew’s new beer `Kohaku Goubishu`.

The beer is a 5-month-aged strong ale built around Maris Otter malt. The profile leans into bready, biscuit-like malt character with layers of caramel and dried fruit. It is listed at 8.0% ABV and 22 IBU, and it is presented as a beer that opens up as it warms, making it a good candidate for slow drinking.

Draft Lineup

At the time of the post, the bar’s draft lineup included five beers:

- `GOse WOMEN 一Contemporary Honey&Lemon Gose` / Gose / Mya Brew
- `Star Sand from Southern Cross` / NZ style Hazy IPA / Mya Brew
- `Chirin` / Weizen with kuromoji / Yamagatado × KYOTO NUDE BREWERY
- `SAKEKASU SMOOTHIE-Cream Soda-` / Smoothie Sour Ale / KANKIKU BREWERY
- `Kohaku Goubishu` / Cellar Aged Strong Ale / Mya Brew

That mix gives the bar a wide range of styles in one place, from honey-and-lemon gose and NZ-style hazy IPA to a kuromoji weizen, a sake-kasu smoothie sour, and a malt-forward strong ale.

Beer Bar Marble opens on weekdays from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and on weekends and holidays from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., making it an easy stop for either an evening session or a daytime drink on the weekend.

The post also mentioned a June 28 event, `Craft Beer and Unwanted Hair Laser Removal`, adding a playful side note to the bar’s usual tap-list updates.
