Draft beer lineup on June 5

Craft Beer Spot Hathor, a beer pub in Kyobashi, Osaka, updated its draft selection on June 5 with a 16-tap lineup focused on pale ale. The bar's "today's draft" and "recommended" list featured real ale versions from Minoh Beer, Beer Hearn, Shiga Kogen Beer, and Onidensetsu Beer, making it easy to compare how the same style changes with different pours and textures.

A standout is Minoh Beer's "Pale Ale Real Ale ver." It leans into a bright citrus aroma from American hops and offers a well-balanced profile that works well with food. Beer Hearn's version brings firm bitterness and a fresh hop nose, while Shiga Kogen Beer's "DPA Real Ale ver." is built on 100% Maris Otter malt for a refined, elegant base. Onidensetsu Beer's "Kinoni Pale Ale Real Ale ver." adds another layer of interest with hop changes from batch to batch.

The rest of the lineup is equally beer-nerd friendly: Yona Yona Pale Ale, Over Drive Pale Ale, Mojiko Beer's Pale Ale, Isekadoya Beer's Classic Pale Ale, Rise & Win's Kamikatz Pale Ale, Miyazaki Hideji Beer's Shinkan no Pale Ale, Hansharo Beer's Taro Zaemon, 3 Tree Brewery's Hinemoshu, Daisen G Beer's Pale Ale, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and Deschutes' Mirror Pond Pale Ale.

Hathor also serves house-smoked food, so the bar works especially well for drinkers who want to pair hop aroma with something savory and take their time exploring the differences across the glass.
