Free Spirits Brewing in Kubo-cho, Himeji, has announced details for its 4th anniversary celebration. The event will take place on Saturday, September 5, and will run as a rooftop beer garden BBQ after regular service, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. by reservation.
The brewery sits within walking distance of Himeji Station and operates as a brewpub with a brewery, restaurant, and rooftop beer garden. Its lineup centers on American-style IPAs, alongside fruit beers that use local yuzu. The anniversary event reflects the brewery’s role as a neighborhood beer destination in Himeji.
This will be the venue’s first rooftop BBQ. According to the post, music will be handled by Shake Freaks, and the meat will be sourced from Niku no Fukuda. The BBQ fee is 5,000 yen, including a welcome beer, and all large-size beers will be 1,000 yen on the day. Other drinks will be served at regular prices.
Reservations are being accepted via Instagram DM. Rather than a simple toast, the event is set up as a full evening of beer, food, and music to mark the brewery’s fourth year.
