Beer House Hobbit, a beer pub in Hirakata, Osaka, posted its draft lineup for June 4. The tap list spans six beers and covers IPA, pale ale, hazy IPA, sour, and white ale styles, with a local Hirakata beer included.

Draft lineup

- Minoh Brewery: `Kozaru IPA`
- Kuninocho Brewery: `Rye Pale Ale`
- Free Spirits Brewing: `Peach Hazy IPA`
- Nat Brew: `Burp Mutant`
- Minoh Brewery: `Grafru Sour`
- Hirakata Beer: `Session Citra White`

The food side is seasonal as well. One highlight is the vegetable jelly dish, made with tomato, water eggplant, okra, asparagus, and myoga. The venue says it was sold out on Monday and was reworked and cooked again. Another Thursday special is the donabe-cooked gomoku takikomi gohan, built with edamame, fresh burdock, shiitake, fried tofu, and chicken thigh; it is served from 20:00 when freshly cooked.

Beer House Hobbit keeps the focus on draft beer while pairing it with dishes that work well across a few glasses, which suits a stop in after work in central Hirakata.
