Evolve Beer&Kitchen is a beer pub in Mukojima, Sumida, in the Tokyo Skytree area. It is known for pairing craft beer with spice-forward dishes, making it a place where you can drink and eat well at the same time.
On July 5, the bar hosted a Y.MARKET BREWING tap takeover. The post announced service from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and described it as "MINATO's early birthday party Day 2." The beers were set to be served without rotation, so guests could take their time with the lineup.
The tap list included "Inuyama Pilsner" as a German Pilsner, "12 DA CAPO" as a Kölsch, "Yellow Sky Pale Ale" as a Yuzu Pale Ale, "Dual Pepper Gyoza Sour" as a Sour Ale with spice, and "Bakushu no Ousho" as a Red Session IPA. It also featured "BLITZ SESSION IPA," "Central Park IPA," "BEER TEX #1.3," "NEW Onigashima IX," and "Minna no Pale Ale Nitro ver.," covering a wide range from crisp lager styles to hop-forward IPAs and more experimental sour and nitro pours.
The food side included event-only dishes inspired by Nagoya's Misen, adding another layer to the beer experience. For a venue like Evolve Beer&Kitchen, which already balances serious beer service with a proper kitchen, the takeover was a good example of how a tap-focused event can still feel like a full meal out.
