Marumugi, a beer pub in Arakicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, has posted its tap list for August 6. The lineup spans five beers, including a Baird Brewing x Shibataya Shoten collaboration IPA, a fruit beer, a lemon-forward hazy ale, a schwarzbier, and a hoppy pale ale.

The featured beer is "MEET² (Meet & Meat)," a collaboration between Baird Brewing and Shibataya Shoten. It is presented as a session IPA designed to pair well with meat dishes, offering a lighter body with clear hop character. Another notable pour is "Apple Hop Shinano Gold Ver.," a fruit beer from Minami Shinshu Beer that highlights the aroma of Shinano Gold apples.
The new release on the list is "Nichinan Lemon Fresh-Squeezed Session Hazy IPA" from Miyazaki Hidetoshi Beer. Brewed with juice and peel from Nichinan Meyer lemons, it combines juicy hop character with bright citrus acidity. The beer is 4.5% ABV and is positioned as a refreshing option for hot weather.
Also on tap are "Schwarz" from Baeren Bier, which leans into roasted malt character with a surprisingly light finish, and "Purple Jet Sky" from Y.MARKET BREWING, described as a hop-forward pale ale. With its mix of sessionable, fruit-driven, and dark beer options, Marumugi continues to present a lineup that rewards close attention from beer fans.
