What kind of brewery is Osaka Namba Brewers?
Hop BroDo you know the microbrewery called "Osaka Namba Brewers"? Their concept is really interesting: "Leisure with Beer and Music."
MugiBeer and music! That’s a great concept. What kind of place is it?
Hop BroIt was founded by a brewer who is passionate about music, and it’s based on the idea of adding color to everyday life through beer. The parent company is Marten Shokai Co., Ltd., and it also has a group company called Arimoto Beer. It’s a member of the Osaka Brewers Association and helps energize Osaka’s craft beer scene.
MugiOh, I see. Do the beer names also have a musical vibe?
Hop BroExactly. You can tell right away from the brand names: "Blurry," "Breathless," "Good Enough," "Hybrid Theory"... they’re all in English, and somehow they feel like titles of Western albums, right?
MugiTotally! Hybrid Theory, like that Linkin Park album...? You can really feel the love of music in the beer names!
Hop BroThat naming sense really comes from a brewer who loves music. They mainly wholesale to nearby craft beer bars and sell online, and they also seem to be aiming to build a brewpub in the future.
MugiServing beer while playing your favorite music in your own brewpub... that’s the best dream. I want to try it!
