Have you heard of 719 (Nanaichi Kyu) Craft Beer in Higashitenma? It opened on July 19, 2024, and the number "719" is set up so that the address, "2-7-19," the owner's birthday, and the opening date all line up as July 19.

What, the address, birthday, and opening date are all 719? That's destiny!

Right? On the first floor, there's a counter, brewing equipment, and a BBQ stand, and the second floor has table seating and a terrace. At the beginning, they still didn't have a brewing license, so they were running eight taps with OEM beer from Kamigata Beer and Ingury Mongury.
Mugi
Ingury Mongury? I don't think I've heard of them.

They're a brewery in Higashiosaka. 719 sourced beer from there while working on their own recipes behind the scenes. What's especially interesting is that, since Osaka Tenma is all about Tenjin-san's plums, they're developing an original beer using those plums. It finishes with a crisp taste and a subtle plum aroma.
Mugi
Plum beer! That really fits the Tenma area. I want to try it!

They got their brewing license in 2025 and started brewing in-house, so you should be able to drink their originals now. Another distinctive point is that they strongly emphasize pairings between craft beer and smoked dishes. There's a BBQ space on the first floor and on the second-floor terrace, too.
Mugi
Craft beer with BBQ!? That's the best combination ever!

What's more, the staff ask even beer beginners about their preferences and help choose a glass for them. It's just a 4-minute walk from Minamimorimachi Station, and it's close to the Tenma drinking district too, so it's in a great spot as a brewery bar where beer fans can drop in casually.

I love that you can stop by in the middle of a night out in Tenma. Plum beer and BBQ, I'm definitely going!
