At the beer specialty shop "vivo! BEER+DININGBAR" near Ikebukuro East Exit, three new draft beers have been connected. On Saturdays, the bar opens at 3:00 p.m., making it a place where you can start drinking seriously early in the weekend, which feels very true to this spot.

This time's new taps are TOKYO ALE WORKS' "Vital Drop IPA," Devil Craft's "Patriot Crush," and Hop Kotan Brewing's "upopo."

"Vital Drop IPA" is a West Coast IPA characterized by tropical notes, a subtle citrus aroma, and a well-balanced dank character. "Patriot Crush" is a hazy IPA that puts juicy, fruity aromas and flavors front and center. "upopo" is a pilsner whose appeal lies in the balance between refreshing hop aroma and a light malt profile, making it a good choice for people who want to enjoy drinkability more than flashiness.

In addition, the bar's 20-tap lineup includes two original vivo! x CYCAD BREWING collaboration beers, Inkhorn Brewing's hazy pale ale, Ise Kadoya Brewery's red ale, Be Easy Brewing's milk stout, draft Guinness, and Heartland. With everything from IPA to lager, saison, cider, and stout, it's an easy setup for side-by-side comparisons according to your preferences.

The food lineup also includes dishes that pair well with beer, such as chicken breast ham with avocado sour cream sauce, German potato salad, Spanish-style omelet with zucchini and potatoes, oyster and okra oil marinade, and clams with lemon aglio e olio. While sampling the three newly arrived hop-forward beers, it's a place where you'd want to take your time and enjoy a meal as well.
