Hathor in Kyobashi pours Nomcraft x Choryo’s "Wine Not?" on August 2
CraftBeerSpot Hathor in Osaka’s Kyobashi area posted its latest draft lineup for August 2. The featured new pour is Nomcraft x Choryo’s "Wine Not?", alongside recommended beers such as Minoh Beer x Brewski’s "Vit Natt IPA" and Nomcraft’s "Nomclassic Porter".
A 16-tap beer pub in Kyobashi with a broad daily lineup
CraftBeerSpot Hathor opened in Kyobashi, Osaka, on March 20, 2015. The beer pub runs 16 taps and also serves house-smoked food, making it a place where draft updates are worth checking closely. In its August 2 post, the bar organized the current selection by style, which makes the lineup easy to read and compare.
Featured pour
- Wine Not? / Nomcraft × Choryo
A collaboration brewed with wine yeast and informed by Choryo’s knowledge of koji. It uses plenty of New Zealand hops plus Phantasm made from NZ wine grapes. The beer finishes fully dry at 0 Plato, yet still keeps a noticeable body. Aromas lean toward passion fruit and tropical fruit, with a slightly saison-like edge.
Recommended beers
- Vit Natt IPA / Minoh Beer × Brewski
A revival of a collaboration IPA originally brewed two years ago. Citrus and tropical hop aromas lead the way, while oats and wheat bring a soft mouthfeel. The beer pushes juicy mango and passion fruit notes.
- Nomclassic Porter / Nomcraft
Part of the NOMCLASSIC series. This English porter shows a gentle roast profile and a relatively light body, making it an easygoing dark beer.
Other taps
- LAGER: Heartland / Kirin Beer
- WHITE BEER: Momo Weizen Wasei Ver / Minoh Beer
- ALE BEER: Kinoni Pale Ale Real Ale Ver / Onidensetsu Beer, Gougin / Daisen G Beer
- FRUITS: Shimanami Super Lemon Sour / Shimanami Brewery, Nichinan Lemon Freshly Squeezed Session Hazy IPA / Miyazaki Hideji Beer, Lime Session / Shonan Beer
- IPA: Hop Nyaon 11th Fleet / Isekadoya Beer, This Is The Way / Long Beach Beer Lab
The range here stretches from a wine-yeast experiment to classic porter, fruit-forward beers, and hop-driven IPAs. For drinkers, that means one visit can cover very different expressions of draft beer in a single bar. With Hathor’s smoked dishes alongside the taps, the lineup should read even more clearly in the glass and on the table.
