Hathor Taps Minoh’s Shimizu Hakuto Peach Weizen and Isekadoya’s Imperial Red Ale
CraftBeerSpot Hathor in Osaka is pouring Minoh Beer’s Peach Weizen Shimizu Hakuto ver and Isekadoya Beer’s Imperial Red Ale. The tap list spans delicate fruit character, hop bitterness, rich malt, and barrel-aged-inspired depth.
CraftBeerSpot Hathor, a beer pub in Osaka, has announced two featured draft pours: Minoh Beer’s Peach Weizen Shimizu Hakuto ver and Isekadoya Beer’s Imperial Red Ale.
The Peach Weizen uses Shimizu Hakuto, a premium white peach variety known for its soft flesh, abundant juice, gentle acidity, refined sweetness, and delicate aroma. It is the third peach variety in Minoh Beer’s Peach Weizen series, following the early-season variety and Hakuho. The beer offers a subtle expression of the fruit rather than an overly heavy sweetness.
Isekadoya Beer’s Imperial Red Ale combines new and classic American hops. Its recipe is designed to recall the character of 2000s-era IPA while retaining the drinkability expected from a modern craft beer. The beer pours a vivid copper-red and shows citrus and grape-like fruit aromas, followed by a firm body and a clean, assertive bitterness.
Other beers listed at Hathor include Sapporo Beer’s Edel Pils, Nobody Brewing’s The Glitch, Beer Hearn’s Pale Ale Real Ale ver, and Twin Peaks Mountain’s Dr. Lemon Weizen. The lineup also includes Isekadoya Beer’s ESB, Daisen G Beer’s Imperial Stout 2023 and Imperial Stout 2025, Karl Strauss’s 37th Anniversary Golden Ale, and Trap Door’s Dream Junior.
With fruit-forward wheat beer, hop-driven red ale, classic lager, and rich dark styles all represented, Hathor’s tap list offers plenty of room for comparison. It is a strong selection for beer drinkers looking to explore different breweries and styles in one Osaka beer pub.
