In an Instagram post dated May 13, 2026, Fukuoka Craft Brewing published an interview with Shibata Berries Farm, a strawberry grower in Okagaki Town. Centered on 'CLICK ~Strawberry Gose~', which had been on sale for about two weeks, the post carefully conveyed the background of a beer that connects farm-grown ingredients with the brewery's brewing.

Shibata Berries Farm said they started growing strawberries in Okagaki because they loved strawberries, were interested in primary industries where they could directly see customers' reactions, and felt a connection to the land. The post also touched on so-called "processing" strawberries: small berries, misshapen ones, those with blemishes, and overripe ones that are difficult to ship through cooperatives or sell directly; they account for about 20% of the harvest. The idea of making use of those fruits as well is what led to this beer.

As for the flavor, Fukuoka Craft describes it as a fruit gose that layers the lively, bold aroma of strawberries with yeast-derived lactic acidity and saltiness. The farm itself said the beer was not overly sweet, retained the strawberry's natural flavor within its acidity, and was fresher than expected. It is clear that the brewer carefully extracted the essence while preserving the ingredients' character.

Fukuoka Craft Brewing, which started in Daimyo, Fukuoka City, began brewing in Okagaki Town in October 2022. On its official website, the brewery explains that it moved toward a new brewing base in Okagaki, starting from the desire it had since its founding in 2017: "We want people in Fukuoka to drink carefully crafted handmade beer." Guided by the belief that "craft beer is entertainment," this collaboration tied to local agricultural products clearly reflects the company's approach to making beer.
