Uchouten Brewing, based in Suwa, Nagano Prefecture, will hold an 8-Taps TTO at TOCA by Inokashira Park Station over the two days of May 23 and 24. In its post, the brewery said it would be doing it again this year, following on from last year, making it clear that this is a continuing effort.

The highlight this time is a beer based on Excursions / Irish Red Ale, brewed for the brewery’s anniversary, with an added twist. They will also be serving a fresh beer that will be poured for the first time on this day. As you would expect from a tap takeover, the lineup should make it possible to enjoy different expressions from the same brewery all at once.

Uchouten Brewing is a brewery based in Suwa, Nagano Prefecture, that has worked across a wide range of styles, from Belgian-inspired beers to lagers and ESBs. Untappd listings also show that its first self-brewed beer was a Belgian Blonde, and that it later went on to make Pilsner, Festbier, ESB, and more. Because its range spans so many styles, this 8-Taps event should be especially interesting for side-by-side comparisons.

The venue is TOCA by Inokashira Park Station. A TTO that runs over two days and rotates kegs throughout the event is ideal for anyone who wants a quick snapshot of where the brewery stands right now. Even for those who already think they know the brewery’s core image, the lineup here, including the first-time release, should offer a chance to see what Uchouten Brewing is doing now.
