CRAFT BEER BASE BUD, where you can enjoy craft beer in the underground area of Osaka's Umeda district, has released its tap list for April 30. This time, the lineup spans 10 taps and includes beers from the United States, Japan, and Europe.

The standout is El Segundo's flagship, "STEVE AUSTIN'S BROKEN SKULL 3:16." The post introduces it as a new arrival, and it's easy to imagine a beer with the sharp bitterness and dry finish typical of a West Coast IPA. The lineup also includes Revision's "What What What," a Triple IPA; Monkish's "West Coast Blue," a West Coast IPA; and 8bit x Bottle Logic's "Final Horizon," a DDH Hazy IPA, making for a selection rich in hop character.

On the darker side, CRAFT BEER BASE's "Robust Porter" and Fremont's "Dark Star" are also on the lineup. In addition, Hinterland's "30th Anniversary BarrelAged Eisbock" is a barrel-aged Eisbock made with maple syrup, and Vinohradský's "Vinohradska" is a Czech Style Pale Lager, making this a lineup with plenty of breadth the more you work through it. From Japan, Ise Kadoya Beer’s "Golden Dragon" is also included, offering the easy-drinking appeal of a Session Pale Ale.

CRAFT BEER BASE BUD is a beer pub on the second basement floor of Osaka Ekimae Dai-1 Building, and its accessible location in Umeda's underground shopping streets is another attraction. Because the tap lineup clearly defines each beer style, it seems like a place where you can enjoy comparing beers in sequence, from IPA as the core to roastier beers and lagers.
