The event will run from 11:00 to 20:00 on both days. According to the brewery, the festival is open to everyone, including families, groups of friends and solo visitors.

A Märzen-style seasonal release
Great Dane Brewing is also serving its Oktoberfest beer on draft and in cans. Classified as a lager, the beer has an ABV of 5% and is brewed with Munich malt and Hallertau hops. The brewery describes a toasted-bread-like malt sweetness balanced by refreshing bitterness. Its label takes inspiration from the blue and white colors of the Bavarian flag.
The brand was founded in Wisconsin in 1994 and opened a new brewery in Akiu in January 2024. Its brewing philosophy combines traditional beer culture, carefully selected ingredients and modern brewing techniques. The brewery also highlights pairings with Miyagi ingredients, including cheese, seafood, meat and vegetables, at its restaurant.
For beer fans, the festival offers an opportunity to enjoy a seasonal German-style lager alongside food and entertainment at Great Dane Brewing’s Akiu site. Additional information is expected to follow as preparations continue.
