Beer Cafe Gambrinus is a craft-beer pub a one-minute walk from the south exit of Kokubunji Station. The shop’s website describes it as a 14-tap craft beer café, and the in-house kitchen serves handmade dishes that pair well with draft beer. In its June 11 post, the bar said it would run regular hours from 17:00 to 25:00 and shared both the current tap list and a "Coming Soon" preview.

Current taps

The 13 drafts cover a broad range of styles: hazy IPA, dry stout, West Coast IPA, IIPA, West Coast pilsner, Japanese yeast beer, fruit ale, and a classic Pilsner Urquell. Highlights include Tuatara from Blue Classic, Black Magic Stout from Sakura Brewery, Everyday IPA from Great Dane, Suruga Bay IIPA from Baird Beer, Moon Calendar and Chikichiki Boon from Nomcraft, Oni Shibori Lager from Ise Kadoya Beer, Full Power from Black Tide, and Hiyama Black from Johana Beer.

Food

Food is part of the draw as well. Gambrinus is taking part in the Kokubeji Tomato Festival, offering three limited dishes made with local Kokubunji tomatoes: tomato agedashi tofu, tomato dashi jelly, and a mini pizza topped with tomato. The post also spotlights stir-fried green beans with spicy miso. It is the kind of place where beer and a proper meal can be enjoyed together.

Coming Soon

Looking ahead, the bar previews Harvest Moon Pilsner, Wa-Sou from Kagoya Brewery, Strawberry Weizen Golden Berry from Hansharo Beer, The Counties from Outsider, One Hand Dunk from Craft Rock, NEW Onigashima IX from Y.Market, and Sen no Sake ni Natte from Ushitora.
