Gotojozo opens its 10th anniversary beer, 10th Anniversary HAZY IPA
Gotojozo, the Setagaya, Tokyo brewery and beer bar, has shared the fourth installment of its 10th anniversary month, led by the release of 10th Anniversary HAZY IPA. The post also looks back at a decade of beers and invites customers to share memories.
Gotojozo is a brewery and beer bar in Kyodo, Setagaya, run by a couple who graduated from Tokyo University of Agriculture. The bar opened in 2016, brewing licenses followed in 2017, and the brewery’s first in-house beer, Kyodo Ale, went on sale in September of that year.
In this fourth post of the anniversary month, Gotojozo announced its commemorative beer, 10th Anniversary HAZY IPA, and added a new content piece that traces the brewery’s 10-year beer history. The post revisits past releases and encourages fans to remember when certain beers came out and which ones were especially popular, making the archive itself part of the celebration.
The anniversary lineup also includes limited goods: a Tirol chocolate giveaway item for children and a shot glass for sale. Both are limited in quantity and will end when sold out. Ahead of the brewery’s 10th anniversary on July 22, Gotojozo is also collecting customer memories and stories through its announcement form.
Known for its flagship Kyodo Ale and a steady stream of seasonal beers, Gotojozo has built its identity around freshly brewed beer served close to the source. This anniversary project frames the brewery’s 10-year story as something to taste, revisit, and share.
