Craft Bank, a Kyoto-based brewery in Fukuchiyama, announced that it will open a booth at "PLAYBACK FES. 2026," to be held on April 26. Tailored to the venue, the brewery says it will prepare a fruit gose using about 100 liters of Maizuru-grown summer oranges, along with a festival-exclusive label.
Craft Bank, which operates a brewery on the site of a former bank in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto Prefecture, announced that it will have a booth at "PLAYBACK FES. 2026," held in Maizuru. In its post, the brewery said it will again take part in the festival, which is held every year on Sunday, April 26.
The beer prepared for this event will be "PLAYBACK," a fruit gose made with about 100 liters of Maizuru-grown summer oranges. By making the most of the tartness and citrus character unique to summer oranges, it has been designed as a beer that suits the season heading into warmer weather. In addition, a festival-exclusive label will be prepared, featuring motifs of the port-town dockside setting where the event is held and the summer oranges themselves.
Under the slogan "Let’s do something with a beer in hand," Craft Bank has continued brewing craft beer rooted in the city of Fukuchiyama. Based at its brewery and restaurant housed in a former bank building, the brewery offers beers that balance drinkability and character. Its decision to use local ingredients for this booth is another clear reflection of that approach.
This offering layers Maizuru’s summer oranges onto a tart style that pairs well with festivals. It looks set to be a booth where visitors can enjoy craft beer with a strong regional identity at a music event.
