Nara Brewing’s “CHARM” Goes on Tap at Bakushu-ya Pogology, with 14 Distinctive Taps on Offer
The beer pub Bakushu-ya Pogology in Osaka’s Andoji-cho has updated its latest tap list. The new tap is Nara Brewing’s “CHARM,” a beer known for its fruity aroma and the smooth mouthfeel brought by oats. Attention is being drawn to a broad lineup that spans breweries from Japan and abroad.
On the evening of March 24, Bakushu-ya Pogology in Osaka’s Chuo Ward, Andoji-cho, posted that day’s tap information. In the post, Nara Brewing’s CHARM was introduced as a “new tap.” The description highlights its fruity aroma, smooth drinkability from oats, and a gentle bitterness and freshness from the hops, along with a subtle sweetness.
That day’s lineup featured a wide-ranging mix of breweries from Japan and overseas, including Nara Brewing, Minoh Beer, Y.MARKET BREWING, WEST COAST BREWING, and FOUNDERS. With a broad spread of styles from IPA and saison to stout and nitro, it stands out as an easy place to compare and sample different beers. In particular, Minoh Beer had multiple selections on tap, making it appealing for those who want a balance of familiar staples and experimentation.
Also announced as the Tuesday food special was chicken paitan ramen. It is described as having a smooth, creamy finish from a carefully simmered chicken broth, and it should pair well with hop-forward beers as well as richer dark styles.
If you want to follow both local breweries and overseas labels in the Tanimachi area, this tap update from Pogology is one to check out.
