July 7 lineup
Eni-Bru, a beer pub in Nakamozu-cho, Sakai City, Osaka, marked its 19th anniversary on July 7. In the post, the shop notes that this day also begins its 20th year, and that limited beers chosen by the owner are being tapped throughout the anniversary month.
The featured beer for the day is "NAMA-CHAN no Rauch" from Tokyo-based NAMACHAんBrewing. As a Rauch-style beer, it leans on the aroma of smoked malt, and the brewery uses malt smoked in-house with beech chips. The beer has also won gold at the IBC in both 2020 and 2022, making it a solid pick for drinkers who want to focus on smoke character and malt depth.
The bottle shop side is busy as well. From Shiga's HINO BREWING, Eni-Bru received three bottles: Chardonnay Boy, Baltic Porter, and Premium Ale. From Ontario's Burduck Brewery, four beers arrived: Bears, Disco Ducks, Double Duck, and Kini Mango Guava. That gives drinkers a broad lineup spanning WC Pale Ale, Hazy IPA, Hazy D IPA, and Fruited Sour Ale.
Located about two minutes on foot from Nakamozu Station, Eni-Bru is set up as a craft beer dining and bottle shop, so it is easy to enjoy both draft pours and takeaway bottles. The food menu also leans well toward beer pairing, with items such as 19-spice bone-in fried chicken and mackerel with eggplant and crispy chili oil, giving the anniversary month a clear drinking-and-dining focus.
