Hokkaido-based craft beer brand Yuitrière has announced its new beer, "MIMOSA SAISON." Following an Instagram post at 8:15 a.m. on February 25 (💐MIMOSA SAISON...), sales began on February 27 through the online store and at the brewery retail counter. This is a light, dry saison themed around International Women’s Day.
Yuitrière is a craft beer brand developed against the backdrop of Akkeshi, Hokkaido’s nature and food culture. The brand name means "a place where oysters grow" in French, and it is built around the concept of "accompanying the time that nurtures."
A New Release: a Brut Saison with "Celebration" in Mind
The newly released MIMOSA SAISON is a beer designed in tribute to International Women’s Day. According to official information, it is characterized by fine bubbles derived from champagne yeast and a dry, light drinking profile. It is a hybrid style combining saison yeast and champagne yeast, finished with a focus on celebration occasions.
It uses three hop varieties: Nelson Sauvin, Triskel, and Barbe Rouge. The aromas evoke white grape, elderflower, orange, and gooseberry, aiming to balance floral brightness with a crisp, refreshing character.
