Bakushu Yumeutami taps Nara Brewing's "SPIRAL"; Knot's "KOURO" also on tap
At the Kyoto Gion beer pub "Bakushu Yumeutami," Nara Brewing's American Belgo "SPIRAL" was tapped during business hours on Wednesday, April 22. Knot's "KOURO" is nearing its end, and the shop plans to switch to Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label on April 24 and 25.
Draft Beer Today
During its Wednesday, April 22, 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. service, Bakushu Yumeutami began serving Nara Brewing's American Belgo "SPIRAL." In the post, the changing hop character is likened to a "spiral," and this time the aroma is said to be centered on melon notes. The other guest beer on the lineup is Knot's "KOURO," which is also said to be nearing the end of service.
A Secret Food Menu Too
Because staff will be on hand that day, the shop will also offer a secret food menu featuring fried items such as bamboo shoots. In addition, Mori Mori's rusk, "Kyoto Shichimi Cheese Flavor," is being announced for the last time in this batch, making for a light snack that sounds appealing between beers.
The Shop's Stance
Bakushu Yumeutami is a beer pub located in Kyoto's Higashiyama Ward, west of Yamato Oji on Shijo-dori. In the post, the shop says it aims to stay focused on beer while offering a serving style that makes people want to drink the same liquid at Yumeutami. It does not accept large groups, welcomes solo guests, and can be visited without a reservation, which is part of what defines the place.
Upcoming Schedule
On Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, they plan to pause Yebisu Beer and serve Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label. They also say they will be open every day from April 29 through May 6, making this an easy announcement for anyone wanting a drink in Kyoto during the holiday period.
