Founded in October 2019, Sakamichi Brewing is based in Tachikawa and says it focuses on brewing in western Tokyo with ecologically responsible methods and locally sourced organic ingredients when possible. The brewery also describes its taproom as a modern, welcoming space with a wide range of beer styles, from familiar lagers and ales to newer, more experimental releases.
This summer-festival setup combines takeout beer, food, and music in one weekend program, giving visitors to the area another stop to add to a Suwa Shrine festival trip.
