Guest Beer on March 29

At Craft Beer Bar & Bottle Shop Progress in Musashi-Kosugi, Kanagawa, the bar will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on March 29 and is serving Sakamichi Brewing's Yozakura! as a guest beer. Described as a rice lager with sakura, this 5.5% ABV beer is characterized by its gentle tartness from the Japanese plum Tsuyuakane and its pale pink color. It is further said to be finished with salted cherry leaves added in the whirlpool, creating a flavor suited to the hanami season.

The shop's post also included thanks to customers who visited the previous day's event, noting that Sakamichi Brewing's 6th anniversary Anniversary Beer had already been tapped out. Since the other beers are also running low but still on tap, they are encouraging anyone who couldn't come the day before to stop by. With the tap lineup changing right now, it seems best to check the current status before going and enjoy accordingly.

Progress opens at 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and 1:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays, making it easy to start drinking early on weekends. It also supports takeaway draft beer; bring a plastic cup, a separately sold PET bottle, or another carbonated-beverage-safe container and you can take beer to go. There are also many spots nearby where you can enjoy beer outdoors, making it a good location for tasting while walking around the cherry blossoms along the Nikaryo Canal. The outdoor seats welcome pets and are equipped with leash hooks, so it's a good fit for stopping by during a walk.
