Craft Beer Bar & Bottle Shop Progress in Kawasaki’s Nakahara Ward will trade on Sunday, June 7, from 13:00 to 23:00. In the post, the shop also notes that its third anniversary is coming up in June and that anniversary beers will begin pouring from June 9.

The first recommendation is NUDE BEER / ASAMOYAー朝靄ー. It is a Session Hazy IPA at 4.5% ABV, built on a soft oat-driven body with Citra and Sabro in the hop schedule. The beer is described as fruity and light on bitterness, with notes that suggest lychee and a touch of coconut.

The second pour is Zakkoku Koubou / 彩:イロドリセゾン ダークシトラス. This Dark Saison with Mikan, Hassaku, and Kabosu at 5.5% ABV comes from the brewery’s local-ingredient-focused IRODORI line. It is a brown saison with bright citrus character and a mild roast-driven bitterness, making it an easy choice for a relaxed Sunday session.

Progress works as both a beer bar and bottle shop, so the setup is straightforward: drink in, or take beer home via volume sales. The shop also offers takeaway in plastic cups or PET bottles, or you can bring your own carbonated-friendly container. It is cashless only, outdoor seats are pet-friendly, and Wednesdays and Thursdays come with 20% off. With weekend opening now starting earlier, it is an especially practical stop for beer fans looking to start the afternoon in Musashi-Kosugi.
