Choryo Shuzo, headquartered in Koriyacho, Kita-Katsuragi District, Nara Prefecture, is introducing a new craft beer, "SESSION IPA." Choryo Shuzo is a brewery that carries the motto, "From Yamato 'Koriyagura,' the birthplace of sake, we bring smiles and excitement to our customers," and it produces craft beer alongside sake.

This new "SESSION IPA" is described in the product copy as "a crisp, light Session IPA with aromas of citrus and white fruit." The aromatic impression combines the fresh fruitiness of white grape with bright citrus notes reminiscent of lime and grapefruit. On top of that, soft nuances evoking white peach and apricot are layered in, creating a finish that lets the hops show their character even as it remains easy to drink.

In terms of specifications, the style is Session IPA, ALC is 4.5%, and IBU is 11. The ingredients are barley malt, wheat malt, and hops, and the hop varieties used are Strata, Mosaic Cryo, Neoson Sauvin Amplifire & T90, and Loral Cryo. It is sold as a set of six 360 ml bottles, priced at 3,630 yen including tax. It is handled as a refrigerated product, and it cannot be purchased together with non-beer items.

The shipping notice states that shipments will begin on or after May 21, with the final shipping date clearly listed as June 9. Designed to keep a strong layering of aromas despite its low alcohol content, this is a beer that balances the easy-drinking character of a Session IPA with hop-derived personality.
