At the beer pub "Eni-bru" in Nakamozu-cho, Sakai City, Osaka, the monthly feature "eni-bru Monthly Feature of Craft Beer: Nippon-Style Beer Selection" will launch on May 22. In an Instagram post, Minoh Beer (Osaka)'s "Spring Lager" is introduced first as this month's featured beer. It is presented as a German pilsner brewed with German malt and hops, and long maturation brings out its umami, bitterness, and clean finish.

This time's theme is "Japanese-style" craft beer that incorporates traditional Japanese ingredients and brewing techniques. The lineup includes ingredients such as sake yeast, sake lees, yuzu, sake rice, Japanese black tea, sansho pepper, rice koji, and soba, giving the tasting lineup a clear focus.

- Sake yeast / LUCKY7 (CRAFTROCK BREWING / Tokyo)
- Sake lees, yuzu / Wakyo ~ Sake Lees Yuzu Ale (CYORYO Craft Beer / Nara)
- Sake yeast / PARALLEL WORLD (Hansharo Beer × Nara Brewing)
- Sake rice / Marihana Yasato (Daisen G Beer / Tottori)
- Yuzu aroma / KAMIKATSU MORNING SUMMER (RISE&WINE Brewing / Tokushima)
- Japanese black tea, sansho pepper / Fuji Rouge7 (fete Mishima Brewery / Shizuoka)
- Rice koji, rice, sake yeast / JAPANEASE WHITE No.9 (ORYZAE BREWING / Wakayama)
- Soba / Nihachi Soba Ale TWINS (Yonezawa Jacks Brewery / Yamagata)

On the food side, "shrimp steamed with aromatic sauce" is also being suggested. It is a dish of shell-on shrimp steamed together with glass noodles and wood ear mushrooms, finished with a special aromatic sauce made with garlic and oyster sauce, making it an easy match as a beer snack.

As the name suggests, Eni-bru is a specialty shop that puts craft beer at the center. The post also says that "beers from all over Japan gather here," and its location, just a two-minute walk from Nakamozu Station, makes it convenient to visit. For people who want to try a range of Japanese-style brews, this clearly themed event is an easy one to check out.
