Inkhorn Brewing brings Phat Q to the final two days of its 5th anniversary event
Inkhorn Brewing in Mejiro, Tokyo will welcome Phat Q on June 20 and 21 for the final weekend of its 5th anniversary celebration. The brewery plans to open the adjacent parking area, letting guests enjoy anniversary beers and BBQ outdoors.
Inkhorn Brewing, based in Mejiro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, will feature Phat Q on June 20 and 21, the fourth and fifth days of its 5th anniversary event. The brewery’s post says Phat Q is handling the closing weekend again this year, making the final two days a key part of the anniversary lineup.
The full celebration runs for five days, from June 17 to 21, at the brewery’s attached tasting room. Two anniversary beers are planned, including the brewery’s annual Hazy Double IPA that has become a regular part of its milestone releases. That mix of a familiar flagship style with a more experimental touch fits Inkhorn Brewing’s approach to anniversary beers.
On June 20 and 21, the brewery will also open the adjacent parking area to give more guests room to enjoy the event. Two tents will be set up as well, so the weekend should offer both indoor taproom service and an outdoor drinking space. Phat Q, which handles the food side of the event, is expected to pair naturally with the brewery’s anniversary pours.
Inkhorn Brewing is listed on its official site as a brewery in Mejiro. The anniversary event looks designed to showcase not only the beers, but also the food and the atmosphere that have accumulated over five years at the brewery’s home base.
