CRAFT BEER BASE BUD in Osaka’s Umeda updated its tap list for April 26. The venue is on the second basement floor of Osaka Station Front Building No. 1. It is a beer pub that is easy to stop by after work, and this time the lineup spans everything from lagers and IPAs to barrel-aged beers.

The highlight this time is Daisen G Beer / Pilsner, which the shop describes as a "true staple." It is introduced as a beer with a clean, soft mouthfeel and an elegant hop aroma, making it a must-try for lager fans. In addition, lager styles such as Bierstadt Lagerhaus / HELLES and Wild East / Patience & Fortitude are on tap as well, creating a lineup that invites knowledgeable drinkers to compare styles side by side.

The tap list has 10 beers in total.

- CRAFT BEER BASE×Matt Brynildson / Gentle Lion - Modern American Pale Ale
- CRAFT BEER BASE / Robust Porter - Robust Porter (new!)
- NAMACHAんBrewing / Jiyugakuen Myonichikan Sakura Smoke Lager - Smoked Lager (new!!)
- Revision / What What What - Triple IPA
- Hinterland / 30th Anniversary BarrelAged Eisbock - Barrel Aged Eisbock with Maple Syrup
- Bierstadt Lagerhaus / HELLES - Münchner Style Helles (new!!)
- Celebral / Direct Current - West Coast IPA
- Daisen G Beer / Pilsner - Pilsner (new!!)
- 8bit×Bottle Logic / Final Horizon - DDH Hazy IPA
- Wild East / Patience & Fortitude - Czech Style Pale Lager

Looking at the lineup, lagers are especially prominent this time, with a selection that lets you clearly enjoy aroma and character within a crisp, refreshing profile. Alongside the new taps of Robust Porter and Smoked Lager, there are also richer styles like Triple IPA and DDH Hazy IPA, so you can enjoy a wide range of flavors in a single stop.

The shop’s post also recommended sautéed asparagus with ethnic sauce as a food pairing. The sauce is said to be a slightly spicy blend based on minced meat and nameko mushrooms, which should pair nicely with light beers like Pilsner and Helles. It sounds like the perfect stop for a night when you want to savor both food and taps at the basement beer pub in Osaka Station Front Building No. 1.
