Hebisasori Brewing in Naha, Okinawa, announced that three of its beers placed at `JGBA2026`. The competition was the "Japan Great Beer Awards 2026," held in Yokohama on February 22 and 23. The brewery also said there was a time when it was reluctant to enter competitions, and that this was its first attempt.

The award results were as follows.

- Silver `Green Echo Guava Guava Hey!` (Fruit-Infused American-Style Sour Ale category)
- Silver `Markee? She is Home #2` (American-Style IPA category)
- Bronze `Butcher’s Smile Saison` (Classic Saison category)

In the post, the brewery explained that encouragement from a nearby brewer, who told them to "give it a try," led to this challenge. It also said that they thought, "If we wait until it's perfect, we may never be able to enter," and sent in three beers, all of which ended up winning awards. The result seemed to bring a great deal of surprise and relief.

It also mentioned sales status: `Butcher’s Smile Saison` has already sold out. Meanwhile, `Green Echo Guava Guava Hey!` and `Markee? She is Home #2` are currently being served in the taproom. For the brewery based in Naha, Okinawa, this win can be seen as recognition of its daily brewing and trial-and-error efforts. It says it will continue releasing beers and taking on new challenges while facing each batch one by one.
