COEDO Brewery announced "COEDO Beer Rooftop Classroom - See, Hear, Touch, Smell, and Taste -", an interactive event set in the urban outdoor space "Depasora URAWA." The venue is the rooftop of Isetan Urawa in Saitama City’s Urawa Ward, and the event will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Structured around two programs

During the day, "COEDO Beer Rooftop Classroom" will be held twice (11:00-12:30 / 14:00-15:30). Each session is limited to 20 participants and consists of two parts:

- A brewing experience in which malt is boiled to make wort
- A tasting and pairing session centered on COEDO's standard beers, with light snacks

The program is designed so participants can touch the ingredients and confirm the differences in aroma and sweetness while learning the basics of craft beer.

At night, "COEDO Brewers Table" will be held (18:00-20:00, limited to 10 participants). This dinner-style program, held inside a glamping tent, pairs the brewery's standard beers with spiced dishes and sauced foods, and includes video content and talks.

Participation fee and requirements

The participation fee is 2,500 yen for adults (junior high school students and older) / 1,500 yen for elementary school students (free for preschool children) for the daytime class, and 5,000 yen for the evening session. No alcohol will be served to anyone under 20, and participants who do not drink alcohol may still join at the same price. No non-alcoholic beer will be provided, but ginger ale made with ginger from Minuma is planned to be available.

COEDO Brewery, based in Kawagoe, Saitama, has earned support for the breadth of its regular lineup and for designing beers as drinks to enjoy with meals. This project appears to be a hands-on event that extends that brewing philosophy beyond simply "drinking" it, allowing people to experience it by "making" and "learning" as well.
