In its August 4 post, Himitsu Beer said summer tends to bring unexpected breakdowns, and this time the problem involved its canning machine. After checking the equipment, the brewery found that two sensors had failed at the same time. Spare parts were on hand, so the machine was back up and running within a few hours. The post makes clear that it was a sensor issue rather than a failure of the machine itself.

The same post also pointed to the second batch of the AFURI collaboration beer, "Afurino Himitsu." The beer was created around the idea that AFURI means yuzu, and the press release describes it as a yuzu-and-sansho IPA. It comes in 350ml cans at 6.0% ABV, and was released in limited quantities from April 23, 2026 at AFURI locations, the official online store, and select retailers.
