Rio Brewing Co. to Hold 9th Anniversary Weekend Event Starting May 2
Rio Brewing Co. will hold its "9th Anniversary Weekend" over two days, May 2 and 3, at its Tokyo Midtown location. In addition to a special 9th anniversary beer, an original can-label experience will also be available.
Rio Brewing Co. will hold its "9th Anniversary Weekend" over the two days of Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3 at RIO BREWING & CO. BISTRO AND GARDEN in Tokyo Midtown. For the brewery, which has operated from its Kashiwanoha, Chiba brewery while developing craft beer in Japan and Belgium, this marks a milestone event celebrating its ninth anniversary.
The event will run from 12:00 to 21:00, and guests can drop in at any time during business hours. Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations inside the restaurant will also be accepted. Participation options are an advance starter set for 2,200 yen (tax included) or an on-the-day starter set for 2,500 yen. The starter set includes three tickets and Belgian fries, and one ticket can be exchanged for one drink or one finger-food item. Additional tickets are 600 yen each, or 2,800 yen for a set of five.
In terms of offerings, the event will feature special 9th anniversary beers as well as an event-exclusive beer-festival style format. In addition, those who purchase a four-can set through advance payment can enjoy an original label experience. Guests can freely draw and design on two types of labels, and the finished set, including two cans with special 9th anniversary labels, will be shipped later to the registered address. Shipping will begin on or after Friday, May 8, and a preferred delivery date and time can be selected.
While Rio Brewing Co. continues to craft ambitious beers at its Kashiwanoha brewery, it has also operated a bistro at Tokyo Midtown. This anniversary event looks set to offer a chance to experience the brewery's character through both food and canned-beer experiences.
