Beer Bar Festa (Festa) Shimokitazawa updated its tap information for March 27. The shop is a beer pub near Shimokitazawa Station, and its defining feature is that you can enjoy darts alongside craft beer. This time’s lineup consists of 13 selections in total: 6 domestic beers, 6 imported beers, and 1 regular beer, covering a wide range of styles.

Domestic Taps

Among the domestic beers are Forest’s "Komorebi Pale Ale," Hansharo Beer’s "Golden Cannon," Repubrew’s "Black Mist of Bamberg," Matsue Beer Herun’s "Sansho White Ale," Iwate Kura’s "Sanriku Oyster Stout," and Rio Brewing Co.’s "Tipsy." "Black Mist of Bamberg," "Sanriku Oyster Stout," and "Tipsy" are listed as nearly gone, making these fast-moving kegs. The standard Heartland is also available, making it an easy anchor for side-by-side tastings.

Imported Taps

The imported lineup includes Silver City’s "Hefeweizen" and "Range West IPA," Thornbridge’s "Double Green Mountain," Lucky Envelope’s "Tangerine Hazy IPA," Puyallup’s "Cozy Night," and Echoes’ "Monk’s Indiscretion." Here too, "Cozy Night" and "Monk’s Indiscretion" are down to the last pours, so it’s a lineup not to miss if you want to enjoy each keg’s individual character.

According to the shop’s notice, Fridays are open until the last call at 4 a.m., making it easy to stay late. In addition, a cherry-blossom viewing at Daizawa Seseragi Park is planned for March 29, and "Beer Lovers’ Association" is also scheduled for April 21. It’s a place worth watching as you work through the taps, where you can enjoy one glass at a time with Shimokitazawa’s easygoing vibe.
