Burnt Mill's "Diamond Lake" Tapped at Beer Bar Festa Shimokitazawa
Beer Bar Festa (Festa) Shimokitazawa opens at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 29 as well. An Instagram post announced a new tap of Burnt Mill's "Diamond Lake," brewed in Suffolk, England. With domestic and overseas taps both lined up, it looks set to be a relaxed day to enjoy drinks until last call at midnight.
Shimokitazawa beer pub "Beer Bar Festa (Festa)" revealed today's draft lineup along with its operating notice for Sunday, March 29.
This day's new tap is Burnt Mill 'Diamond Lake'. The post describes it as a craft beer from Suffolk, England, with a light drinking feel and a dry finish. Because it is Sunday service, last call is 12 a.m. On the fifth floor of a building near the station, the shop offers a laid-back way to spend time with craft beer and darts, which is very much its style.
The taps are also well stocked with domestic beers. Forest 'Komorebi Pale Ale', Hansharo Beer 'Golden Cannon', Repubrew 'Black Mist of Bamberg', Matsue Beer Hearn 'Sansho White Ale', Iwate Kura 'Sanriku Oyster Stout', and Rio Brewing Co. 'Tipsy' are on the lineup, along with the regular beer Heartland.
On the overseas side, Silver City 'Hefeweizen', Silver City 'Range West IPA', Thornbridge 'Double Green Mountain', Lucky End Rope 'Tangerine Hazy IPA', Puyala 'Cozy Night', and Echoes 'Monk's Indiscretion' were confirmed. Some labels are down to their last few pours, so if there's a beer you want, it looks best to visit early.
The shop is also promoting all-you-can-throw darts and the 'Beer Lovers' Club,' so while beer is the main focus, it is set up for a lively stay that feels right at home in Shimokitazawa. If you're after the new tap, this is a place where following the movement of the taps is part of the fun.
