Fukui-based Our Brewing has released its November newsletter, reporting a silver medal for Four Dimensions at the International Beer Cup 2026. The issue also highlights a grape-sansho collaboration with open air, an anniversary beer for osacu in Tokyo, support for Fukui basketball, and upcoming releases and events.
Silver at the International Beer Cup
Fukui-based Our Brewing reports that its beer “Four Dimensions” received a silver medal at the International Beer Cup 2026. The result was featured in the brewery’s November newsletter, alongside updates from the past month and announcements for upcoming beers.
Our Brewing has built a growing record at competitions including the International Beer Cup and Japan Great Beer Awards. This latest medal adds another international accolade to the story of a brewery bringing Fukui-made craft beer to a wider audience.
A beer made with grape sansho
The newsletter also announces a collaboration with open air featuring “budō sansho,” a fragrant Japanese pepper known for its distinctive citrus-like aroma and gentle spice. The project offers an intriguing meeting point between regional ingredients and modern craft brewing.
How the pepper’s aroma and subtle heat come through in the finished beer will be a key point of interest for drinkers. As with many of Our Brewing’s collaborations, the beer is expected to offer a character distinct from the brewery’s regular lineup.
Connecting Fukui with the wider beer scene
Our Brewing also shares its support for the Fukui basketball team Blowwinds. The update reflects the brewery’s role not only as a producer of beer, but also as an active participant in the local community.
The issue further introduces a second-anniversary collaboration beer for osacu in Hatagaya, Tokyo, and recaps the brewery’s participation in the Gifu Oktoberfest. Based in Fukui City, Our Brewing continues to build connections with restaurants, taprooms, and beer festivals beyond the prefecture.
November releases and events
The latter part of the newsletter outlines beers scheduled for release in November, along with upcoming event appearances and pop-up sales. Drinkers can look forward to tracking down the grape-sansho collaboration, the osacu anniversary beer, and other seasonal releases through the brewery’s official channels.
Competition recognition, local ingredients, sports, anniversary collaborations, and festivals: the November issue captures Our Brewing’s current direction as a Fukui brewery expanding its community through beer.
