Inkhorn Brewing, based in Mejiro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, has introduced its new Hazy IPA, Silvereye 2026. The beer comes in at 6.5% ABV and uses Citra and Galaxy as the core of the hop bill, with Citra LUPOMAX and Nelson Sauvin also included.

In the post, the brewery describes the hop character as resembling peach, passion fruit, and grapefruit. Although the beer is clearly hazy in appearance, it is presented as soft on the palate, with the overall balance becoming more integrated as the beer warms. The brewery also notes that Galaxy was kept in check so its character would not dominate the profile.

Inkhorn Brewing is a Tokyo brewery with a base in Mejiro. Silvereye 2026 fits the brewery's straightforward, hop-forward approach and gives beer fans another example of how the team builds aromatic, fruit-driven beers without pushing the bitterness too far.
