Gotojozo, the craft brewery and beer bar in Kyodo, Setagaya, is preparing 10th Anniversary Hazy IPA as the third release in its anniversary month campaign. In its Instagram update, the brewery said the beer is still in the brewing stage and that opening is planned for the second week of July or later.

The limited beer is built on the brewery's regular Kyodo Ale and adds hops that bring bitterness and a pine-like aroma. It is positioned as a beer that reflects 10 years of brewing and serving beer in the neighborhood. Rather than leaning on flashy packaging, the project feels rooted in the brewery's day-to-day approach: careful brewing, steady service, and a focus on fresh beer.

Gotojozo was founded by a couple who graduated from Tokyo University of Agriculture. The brewery opened its beer bar in Kyodo in July 2016 and began selling house-brewed beer in September 2017. Since then, it has developed as a small standing beer bar near Kyodo Station, while also offering seasonal beers, bottled beer, and event appearances.

As the brewery marks its 10th anniversary in July 2026, the anniversary month doubles as a moment to look back on the people and community that supported the brand. The finished beer is worth watching, especially for fans who appreciate a brewery that continues to refine its house style while marking a milestone.
