At WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE (Mihama Base), a craft beer specialty shop in Inagekaigan, Chiba, there were two new taps on this day. The highlights are Monkish's West Coast Flavor and O/O Brewing's Narangi.

Monkish West Coast Flavor is a West Coast IPA made with Mosaic and Simcoe. Monkish is known as a brewery with small-scale production and very high difficulty to obtain, so opportunities to drink it on tap are rare. It stands out as a beer with a clearly defined hop profile while remaining crisp and dry to drink.

On the other hand, O/O Brewing Narangi is a hazy IPA characterized by citrus notes reminiscent of orange and tropical nuances. It is described as having a golden color and a balanced flavor with sweetness and peel-like bitterness. With a West Coast IPA and a hazy IPA lined up side by side, the selection makes comparison tasting easy.

The total number of draft beers on this day was nine. GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, STONE /// Fear.Movie.Lions Double IPA, Isekadoya Beer Hazy IPA, Evolution Lot No.3, and LERVIG Super Sonic were joined by these two new kegs.

MIHAMA BASE is a craft beer specialty shop that also offers bottle and can takeout. Business hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and there is also a happy hour from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, when in-house drinks are 100 yen off. It is easy to stop by for just one drink on the way home from work, and it offers the kind of enjoyment that only a shop with fast keg turnover can provide.
