Uchu Brewing Offers Barrel-Aged Beer 'Labyrinth 002' at Toranomon Hills
On March 30, Uchu Brewing announced that bottles of its latest barrel-aged series release, 'Labyrinth 002,' had arrived at the taproom on the second floor of Toranomon Hills GLASS ROCK. It is a bourbon barrel-aged barley wine, and the taproom also introduced four of its draft beers.
On March 30, Uchu Brewing announced that bottles of the latest entry in its barrel-aged series, 'Labyrinth 002,' had arrived at the taproom on the second floor of Toranomon Hills GLASS ROCK. This time, it is a barley wine aged in bourbon barrels, with maturation bringing out deeper aroma and richness, and leaving a smooth finish that lingers.
According to the taproom's information, business hours are from 11:00 to 21:00, with last orders at 20:30. It is cashless payment only. No food is served, but food purchased inside Toranomon Hills may be brought in. In addition, canned beer purchased there can be enjoyed inside the store for an additional 100 yen per can.
The draft lineup for the day consisted of four beers: `SIRIUS HAZY INDIA PALE ALE` (ABV 6.5%), `Uchu BREAK2 FANCY QUADRUPLE IPA` (ABV 12.0%), `Uchu Deluxe Citra TDH DIPA` (ABV 8.5%), and `ATOM PASSIONFRUIT TROPICAL SMOOTHIE SOUR` (ABV 5.5%). Being able to check both limited bottled releases and the current draft lineup in one place is a defining feature of the Tokyo taproom.
Uchu Brewing is headquartered in Hokuto, Yamanashi Prefecture, where it also operates its brewery, and it runs taprooms in Kobuchizawa, Yamanashi, and Toranomon, Tokyo. True to its space-themed brand, it continues to bring its latest beers directly from its brewery in Yamanashi to Tokyo.
