WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Inagekaigan added Isekadoya Beer’s American ESB, “ESB,” on the last Friday of August. The beer brings apple- and pear-like yeast notes, citrus hop character, and a malty body, bringing the tap list to nine beers.
At WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Takaasu, Mihama Ward, Chiba City, the shop marked the last Friday of August with a new tap release. The venue also holds a general liquor retail license, so guests can enjoy draft beer on site and take home bottles or cans as well.
The highlight of the day is Isekadoya Beer’s “ESB,” listed as an American ESB with 5.5% ABV and 35 IBU. The brewery describes it as a draft expression of the softness usually found in cask ale. The aroma opens with yeast-driven apple and pear notes, layered with citrusy American hop character, while crystal malt adds a rounded malt depth before finishing dry.
The full draft lineup for the day includes nine beers: GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, El Segundo×Pizza Port Surfin’ Bird DIPA, Night Shift Whirlpool, FARMENTRY Powder Juice, West Coast Brewing Harmonic Dreams, Harland Color Form IPA, and Isekadoya Beer ESB. Hours are 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with food last order at midnight and drinks last order at 12:30 a.m. It is a practical stop in Inagekaigan for anyone looking to move between classics and more distinctive craft styles.
