A Place to Compare Beers in Hakuba

Azumino Brewery will exhibit at "Craft Beer Marche in Hakuba," to be held on June 6 and 7 at Wahara Ground in the Iida district of Hakuba Village. The event runs for two days, Saturday, June 6 from 12:00 to 21:00 and Sunday, June 7 from 10:00 to 16:00, with free admission. About 10 breweries, mainly from within Nagano Prefecture, will gather, and visitors can enjoy more than 30 kinds of craft beer.

At the event, more than 20 restaurants from inside and outside the village will offer snacks, meals, and sweets, while a craft shop, stage performances, and live painting are also planned. It is an event where you can enjoy not only beer, but also food, music, and art together.

Azumino Brewery is based in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture. On its official website, the brewery says it draws on its roots as someone born and raised on a farm in Shinshu Azumino to produce craft beer made with 100% locally sourced ingredients, with a particular focus on hops, brewing barley, and even water from Azumino. It also operates an attached taproom where visitors can enjoy the beer while looking out over the brewery, highlighting its commitment to local, community-rooted craftsmanship.

The marche in Hakuba seems likely to be a chance to see the individuality of such brewers all in one place. Discount advance tickets are being announced on the official website.
