Setting Up at an Event in Hakuba

Azumino Brewery will have a booth at "Craft Beer Marche in Hakuba." The event runs on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 12:00 to 21:00 and Sunday, June 7, from 10:00 to 16:00, at Wahara Ground in the Iida district of Hakuba Goryu. Admission is free, and beer will be sold using tickets.

This booth introduction also highlights the brewery's character. Azumino Brewery is a restaurant with an attached brewery in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture, right in front of JR Oito Line's Hotaka Station, where guests can enjoy food and drink while watching the brewing equipment. Its offerings are designed with pairings in mind, especially with dishes made from local ingredients, and it has a strong presence as a brewpub.

Two beers are scheduled to be served at the event.

- Azumino Sawayaka Saison
A saison intended to layer a grape-like white-wine aroma with the crispness and richness of sake. Using rice from its own farm, Kazesayaka, the brewery also puts considerable effort into the mash, preparing steamed rice over more than six hours in a saccharification kettle. It is also an award-winning beer, recognized three years in a row at the JGBA.

- Azumino Fruit Ale
A fruit ale made with plenty of apple juice from apples grown in Azumino, such as Shinano Gold and Shinano Sweet. Rather than emphasizing sweetness, it is finished as a refreshingly crisp beer that brings out the tartness of the apples.

Azumino Brewery is a brewery whose approach is clear: it turns the ingredients of Azumino into its own character. At the Hakuba event, through its refreshing saison and fruit-forward fruit ale, visitors will likely be able to experience the company's signature "easy-to-drink, locally rooted" style.
