Craft producers gather in front of Iida Station

Azumino Brewery has announced that it will exhibit at “Iida Yoi Fest 2026: Autumn Edition,” an event taking place in Iida, Nagano.

The festival brings together a selection of craft producers from across Nagano Prefecture around Iida Station. Visitors will be able to explore a range of locally made beverages, including craft beer, cider, sake and wine. The gathering offers an opportunity to compare different expressions of Nagano’s brewing and fermentation culture in one place.

Beer rooted in Azumino ingredients

Azumino Brewery is based in Azumino, Nagano. The brewery aims to make craft beer using locally grown Azumino hops and brewing barley, together with spring water from the Northern Alps, pursuing beer made entirely from ingredients sourced in Azumino.

Its “Sui” beer is made with Azumino-grown hops and barley and water from the Northern Alps. The beer is described as having a gentle bitterness that highlights the aroma of the hops. The festival will give visitors in Iida an opportunity to experience beer that reflects the landscape and agricultural character of Azumino.

The original announcement does not yet specify which beers will be served, how they will be sold or provide detailed booth information. Visitors should check the brewery’s official updates for further announcements.

With producers and drinkers gathering around Iida Station, Iida Yoi Fest 2026: Autumn Edition will offer a look at the diversity of craft beverages made across Nagano. Azumino Brewery’s participation will add a taste of Azumino to the regional lineup.
