At the beer pub "Enibrew" in Nakamozu-cho, Sakai City, Osaka, Ushitora Brewery’s "Hatopoppo Ale Hatomugi Mashi-Mashi Cereal Ale ver." has appeared.

This beer is Ushitora Brewery’s 20th anniversary beer. It is a fragrant Japanese-style pale ale made with hato mugi (Job’s tears) from Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, and the biggest highlight is the real ale served via Enibrew’s signature hand pump. Because carbon dioxide is intentionally not added, you can take your time to appreciate its smoother mouthfeel, the straw-like flavor derived from the hato mugi, and the herbal impression of the hops.

Enibrew is a beer pub a 2-minute walk from Naka-Mozu Station. Known as a place that gathers draft craft beers from all over Japan, its official information says it offers 19 kinds of draft craft beer. It is a place suited not only to those who want to compare craft beers, but also to those who want to savor a single glass carefully.

As a pairing, the post introduces "Salmon and spring vegetable lemon-genovese steam". It is a dish of plump salmon with bamboo shoots, spring cabbage, and new onions, finished lightly with lemon’s acidity, and it seems to pair well with the soft drinking feel of real ale.

Also not to be missed is Enibrew’s staple American fried chicken. The post also introduces a Thursday regular promotion in which ordering chicken upgrades the beer from M to L, making it a setup where you can enjoy both food and beer centered around the drinks. In Naka-Mozu, this guest beer is definitely one to watch for anyone who wants to enjoy craft beer, including the way it is poured.
